During 2007, the Foundation's research identified its niche in the market of supporting young people to start a Kent-based business. We now see ourselves in a unique position of being the only non-statutory organisation in this field that addresses all of the following:
- a local, Kent wide organisation;
- targetting support and services to young people; and
- will aim to support the economic development of Kent.
Providing us with a unique selling point (USP) of being:
by Kent for Kent in Kent
Kent County Council offers a range of resources to the Foundation including the secondment of staff, office facilities and direct contact with many of its corporate services. As an indpendent charity with support from Kent County Council, Kent Foundation complements the County Council's services.
