Kent Foundation's research identified its niche in the market of helping young people to start and develop a Kent-based business. We now see ourselves in a unique position of being the only non-statutory organisation in this field that addresses all of the following:
- a local, Kent wide organisation;
- targeting support and services to young people; and
- will aim to support the economic development of Kent.
Kent County Council offers a range of resources to the Foundation including the secondment of staff, office facilities and direct contact with many of its corporate services. As an indpendent charity, Kent Foundation complements the County Council's services.
Our Mission Statement:
'Ensuring young people of Kent get the support they need to be successful in starting and growing a business, so contributing to the overall success of Kent'
Kent Foundation has a range of experiences and expertise amongst its Trustees, Director and Support Staff. We also have the enthusiasm and belief in an organisation with a positive and exciting future.
