Kent Enterprise Education Partners is billed as an "informal gathering of like-minded professionals with a common purpose of helping young people engage with enterprise".
What's it all about?
The objective of the Kent Enterprise Education Partners is to discuss future enterprise initiatives that may include:
- Looking at how we can collaborate to improve the 'learner journey' and explore a collaborative vision;
- Sharing resources and research;
- Finding out what enterprise activities are on in Kent;
- Finding the gaps in provision; and
- Providing services that are required to help Kent's young people learn about enterprise and associated opportunities.
Who's involved?
A number of organisations exist to support enterprise education throughout Kent. Mainly operating in schools, colleges and universities throughout the County these groups deliver enterprise education programmes and competitions that help students focus on entrepreneurship.

Often using expert volunteers from local businesses or professional trainers, the individual organisations offer a wide range of services that address different skills associated with starting and growing businesses including:
- Creating concepts for business ideas
- Business Planning
- Understanding finance
- Presentation skills
- Teamwork and decision making in groups
Programmes can be "off the shelf" or are sometimes tailor-made to suit the needs of the school, college, or university.
