Business Advice

So, how does business advice from The Kent Foundation work? So, you’ve got an idea for a business? You’ve just started a business? Or maybe you’ve been in business for a little while and want to grow it? You have the big idea but the problem is you’re a little bit stuck as to how you are going to bring it to life.Business Advice and Mentoring Young Entrepreneurs Kent

  • Step 1 – Send us an email (see form below), phone us or get in touch with us over social media and provide us with a brief overview of your business and perhaps send us your website if you’ve got one up and running.
  • Step 2 – We’ll take a look at your idea and be in touch via email or phone to arrange to meet with you to find out more. We’re very flexible with dates/times/locations so no need to worry if you are currently Business Advice for Kent's Young Peopleworking.
  • Step 3 – We will meet with you, grab a coffee (or tea if you prefer) and have a chat for an hour or so. In these business advice sessions we’ll find out more about you, your business ideas and your vision for the future. We’ll also use our knowledge and contacts to point you in the right direction and put you in touch with the right people.
  • Step 4 – We’ll try to pinpoint the specific business support you need and we can then match you with one of our Volunteer Business Mentors. We train business experts from across Kent who volunteer their time to support you. They can provide high value specialist ongoing support to help you and your business reach your full potential.

Why business advice from The Kent Foundation?

The Kent Foundation is a charity specifically set up to provide business advice and support to Kent’s young people and have been running for over 30 years. We regularly carry out research to ensure we are in tune with the needs of young people, and delivering the relevant support to Kent’s budding young entrepreneurs. We pride ourselves on our personal service and have access to a wide network of support. This includes our prestigious trained Volunteer Business Mentors and the chance to meet with other young Kent businesses.

“Kent Foundation has always been available to talk to us on the phone and give us advice, contacts and insights that we would never otherwise have had. They are the people who are there for you in the earliest stages. They take you seriously and speak to you in a way that other organisations simply don’t know how to”
