Student Success!
Antony, Rishi and Pritesh, three young graduates, are behind the brilliant new company FatMoose, dedicated to making students' lives that much easier by helping them sort out the all-important problem of FOOD. A fantastic idea, yet so simple, Fat Moose is obviously filling a gap in the market.
Antony Chia, a 23 year old computer science graduate explained, "We were all at that stage wondering what to do next, floating round potential ideas, maybe start a small business on the side - and then we were at the pub - our usual Thursday evening get together after lectures. We were hungry, wanted to order takeaways but none of us had any menus or ideas where to eat. And we didn't know anywhere online where we could order food really quickly to find this information. So we developed the idea a little more and entered an ideas competition run by the University, the Student Innovation Ideas Competition. Amazingly, we won the Gold Award for 2009 and it all went from there. Read more »
