Burning2Learn attends Stakeholder Summit

Kent Foundation's Stakeholder Summit at Pizza Express, Maidstone, on 1st December was a fantastic success and all who attended complemented the Foundation and the work undertaken during the last year.
Kent's young entrepreneurs were the INSPIRING STARS of the event, talking about their businesses and plans for the future.
Kent Foundation continues to "listen and respond" and presented its EmPower research - an investigation into the support needs for young people embarking on or running their own business ventures.

A beneficiary of the Kent Foundation is a Folkestone-based body artist, Dan, who specialises in promotional services, providing models with full body painting, for gigs and events.
Friends needed to build foundations

Business Leaders have been urged to be a friend to young entrepreneurs.
Kent Foundation, which helps talented young people with good comercial ideas, has unveiled a "friends" organistion to give it etra mentoring and financial support.
The foundation works closely with Business Link, Kent County Council, The Prince's Trust, and other organisations to encourage more young people into business enterprise.
