Luke Quilter wins KEiBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year

KEiBA (Kent Excellence In Business Awards) which is run jointly by Kent County Council and the KM group took place on 30th June 2011. The awards are one of the most prestigious in Kent and recognise excellence in business from a wide range of organisations across the county. Kent Foundation for young entrepreneurs sponsors the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award with Paul Barron - Director of Kent Foundation being one of the judges on the panel searching for the best enterprising young people.
Great Fun had by all at the residential Enterprise Experience

Enterprise Experience is Kent Foundation for young entrepreneurs answer to cramming, with plenty of tasks and events to fill you with tons of business knowledge in the space of just 5 days. Taking place from 20-24th June 2011 numerous young people attended from a wide range of backgrounds some who are already running their own business to others who had just limited knowledge of the subject.

Volunteers Week 2011 took place from Wednesday 1st June - Tuesday 7th June. To celebrate Kent Foundation for young entrepreneurs held an event on the last day of the week to celebrate the continued support from our ever growing group of volunteers.
Joint publicity for YourSpace and Wheelie Good Mobility

Last week the Gravesend Reporter took a trip to see YourSpace the name for Kent Foundation's newly acquired business incubation unit in Gravesend Old Town Hall. Charmaine Kemp of Wheelie Good Mobility a young entrepreneur who is currently residing in the unit met the reporter in order to help publicise YourSpace as well as giving her the opportunity to raise awareness of her own company.
