We are committed to helping young people start up in business.

We offer a range of services to young people in order to support the economic development of Kent. That's why we target young entrepreneurs with real potential.   

Our services create an enterprising journey which offers business help, business advice and develops new skills.

Inspiring workshops

• Engaging With Enterprise -  in partnership with Kent's school sixth forms, colleges and universities, workshops can be designed to explore entrepreneurial skills and raise awareness of what makes a successful entrepreneur. 

Prepare for start up  

• Enterprise Experience (Residential) - an intensive programme, designed to help young people develop business skills to start their own business
• Innovation - advice and financial support to help young people develop a new business idea. 

Set up help for starting a new business

• Test Trading - advice and support during the early first few months of setting up a new business

Help your business grow

• Kent Entrepreneurs Initiative - opportunities for young entrepreneurs to pitch to Kent's business experts and get free in-kind advice and professional support from local Solicitors, Accountants, Marketing Executives etc
• Foundation Shop Window - marketing and advertising opportunities, attend business exhibitions and networking events.

Free business advice

• Mentoring - The mentor's role is to support young people to make decisions about business; this may be about start-up or growth issues etc.  Provides opportunites to meet up on a regular basis, plus emails and phone calls provide 1-2-1 individual support.
