Kent Entrepreneurs Initiative

The aim of our Kent Entrepreneurs' Initiative is to link you, a young business person of Kent, with a local Business Partner who can offer help to start up your own business.

We offer free in-kind advice from our Business Partners on subjects such as

  • marketing,
  • business law,
  • human resources, etc

We can also offer free secretarial, administration and bookkeeping services.  PLUS a place on the Kent Foundation's Enterprise Experience programme, which in itself is worth £500.

Once applicants have completed the initial submission form they are invited to attend a Kent Entrepreneurs' Workshop.  This is an informal workshop and lunch event where they will get to meet other applicants, be trained by Kent Foundations session workers and have their business ideas formed into a presentation.

The second event is the Kent Entrepreneurs' Challenge where applicants present their business ideas to a panel of Business Partners who make a decision based on the needs of each participant and the strength of their business idea, and agree the business support and advice on offer to each participant.

The next Kent Entrepreneurs' Challenge event will be held on 17 February 2010.
